As an Associate Artist at Theatre Royal Stratford East ULTZ develops and directs new pieces of Urban Music Theatre: Jean Genet’s play The Blacks Remixed, Da Boyz (a hip hop version of The Boys from Syracuse), and Pied Piper – a hip hop dance revolution (Olivier Award, Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre).
